Maunulan koulun 50-vuotista taipaletta juhlittiin 27.4.2002 Ala-asteella suuren yleisömäärän voimin. Ohjelma herätti selvästi tunteita paikalle tulleissa aikuisissa. Koululle oli kerätty nostalgiaa herättäviä luokkakuvia ja muuta historiallista kuvamateriaalia vuosien varrelta.

Ohjelmaa esittävät oppilaat hoitivat osuutensa kiitettävästi. Järjestelyissä mukana ollut vanhempainyhdistys on saanut toimintaansa mukavasti uutta potkua.

Yhdistys julkaisi juhlalehden, jota on saatavilla koululta 2 euron hintaan. Otteena lehdestä kirjoituksia:

Koulu 50 vuoden päästä on hm..
No, sinne mennään lentokengillä. Kun ruvetaan opiskelemaan niin normaalin
tuolin tilalla on nojatuoli, joka leijuu ilmassa.

Nykyiset siivoojat rakentavat robotteja ja laittavat ne siivoamaan. Jos
robotit tottelevat, ne saavat kaksi miljoonaa palkkaa.

Opettajat saa potkut, jos ne ei saa oppilaita oppimaan mitään.

Koulun lukujärjestys on: Ma 8-12, ti 9-12, ke 10-13 ja perjantai lauantai
ja sunnuntai ovat vapaita.

Koulu 50 vuoden päästä
on siistimpi ja isompi. Koulussa opiskellaan omalla tyylillä tiettyjä aineita ja välitunti loppuu aina 15 yli ja koulusta päästään aina 15 yli 2.
Luokat on isompia ja jokaisessa luokassa on ainakin 30 oppilasta.
Välituntipihat ovat suuria ja puhtaita.
Koulussa on opiskelupäiviä vain neljä päivää ja kolme päivää vapaata.
Koulussa on 5 oppituntia ja oppitunnit ovat kässä, kuvis, ATK, vapaatunti
ja matikka.

KOULU SADAN VUODEN KULUTTUA
Olen nähnyt unta. Näin koulun tulevaisuudessa. Ulkona oli alarakennuksen
kellon tilalla valtava TV-ruutu. TV-ruudussa näkyi kellonaika. TV:ssä oli
kuva jostakin paikasta koulun sisällä. Seinät olivat tummansiniset ja
mustat. Unessa oli samat opettajat ja oppilaat. Kaikki olivat saman
ikäisiä kuin nykyään. Unessa tapahtui muutakin, mutta se ei liittynyt
kouluun, joten en kerro sitä. Sitten heräsin.

INTERNATIONAL CLASSES
Koulussa toimivat myös englanninkielistä opetusta antavat kansainväliset
luokat. Luokille pääsemisen ehtona on sujuva englanninkielen taito ja osa
oppilaista puhuukin kotikielenä englantia tai muita vieraita kieliä.

SCHOOL IN 50 YEARS
I imagine in 50 years school wont be much different. The buildings will
look the same. There will be some different classes, like virtual
reality.
50 years isn't that long. The kids wont have to write anything, they will
just type on computers. Maybe in 150 years you wont go to school, you
just will turn on the TV and your teacher will be on the screen and you
will do your schoolwork from home.

SCHOOL IN 50 YEARS TIME
The school in 50 years time will not be good and the clock won't work or
water sink won't work but I don't think that time the school will look
good at all and the lights won't work and the classes have many scratches
on the wall and some of the chairs will be broken and the roofs will have
holes at the top and some windows will be broken and there won't be many
people at school maybe. THE END

SCHOOL 50 YEARS TIME
School 50 years in the future, the teachers will be robots and there will
be robot children.
There will be flying cars. The food will be in a box, it is powder and
ingrediens, you put it in the microwawe then it becames real food. The
machine is called The Zip Zapper.
Their phones are in their hands. The pets are robots too, their food will
be the same but not exactly the same.
The money will be rocks and they will not have notebooks any more. They
will have laptops instead. They will have pens that if you press a button
one time there will come a pencil, if you press two times there comes a
colored pencil.

THE SCHOOL IN FUTURE
In the future it will be horrible. The teachers are
robo/89.000@kongs.coms/. They know everything. They teach all the lessons. You have to be very good to not to stay after school.
The robots will teach History, Math, Physical Education, Enviromental
Studies, English, French, Woodwork, Crafts, Building Things, Music
Studies, Phone Lessons, Religion, Computer Lessons, Space Lessons,
Timemachine Lessons, Karate Lessons and Kung Fu Lessons. You can use
mobile phones in the phone Lessons.
The mobile phones have DkXways. DkXways are very special in mobile
phones. There are 50,000 games, 78,000 ringtones, 5 billion spaces to
write sms, internet 60,000 billion MHz, free chat, you can send free
games, and you can go inside the phone.
The school is 23-81 hours long a day. You get everyday very much
homework. You get homework from every lesson. The phones can ring at the
lessons. You can go internet every lesson with the phone or pocket size
computer. You get in the start of the year a pocket size compu- ter, a
mobile phone, a skateboard, a timemachine, all sports kit and a big bag
of money and candy. THE END
